Gneiss Things (pronounced 'nice things') was established in 2007 by recording artist and Emeralds member Steve Hauschildt. The label has primarily focused on releasing limited CDR & LP editions since its inception. Initially an outlet for Hauschildt's solo work and Emeralds releases, it has since been a locus for electronic and synthesizer based musics spanning both sides of North America.
